The benefits of cooking from scratch

Aside from the feeling of accomplishment that you'll get after you have made your first bread, milk, yogurt, or pizza dough, there are great advantages to being able to cook from basic ingredients.

Have you ever looked at the ingredients in a peanut butter jar? How many are there?

Here's an example from a famous brand:
"Roasted Peanuts, Sugar, Contains 2% or Less of: Molasses, Fully Hydrogenated Vegetable Oils (Rapeseed and Soybean), Mono and Diglycerides, Salt"

When you make peanut butter with a Thermomix, do you know how many ingredients you need?
One! = Peanuts! (and peanut oil for consistency)

Being able to know what's in your food and when it was made is priceless. Being able to cook it from fresh ingredients is healthier for you and your family and the taste is really much better.

See on the top bar examples of made-from-scratch food: Bread and pizza dough, strawberry jam, yogurt, dumplings, vegetable stock (ohhh, the soups are now happy!!), "the shopping cart difference" in one picture, peanut butter, chicken nuggets, and horchata made from tiger nuts.
